In the 1980's there were only a handful of wineries in Temecula, now there are 35. I had only visited maybe 4 or 5 in the area before today, when I expanded the list, adding Oak Mountain Winery and Danza del Sol.
Oak Mountain Winery has an intimate tasting room, is dog friendly, and has a large outdoor seating area.
Raya's friend, Jennifer, joined us for an afternoon of wine touring.
Danza del Sol is one winery north of Oak Mountain on De Portola Rd. There were people at Oak Mountain (which closed at 5pm) who went, along with us, to Danza del Sol (which closed at 6pm). One couldn't help but notice the wine tasting culture at these two small wineries.
It was Wednesday, and it was pretty busy.
I guess we are not the only ones who believe that wine is a great addition to life.
Today I was inspired to continue adding to the list of wineries I have explored, and hopefully to visit ALL of them. I think this sounds like a fun goal to reach.
