2,000+miles+baby. Day 8. Grizzly and Wolf Discovery Center, West Yellowstone.

After a healthy hearty breakfast at Three Bear Lodge we headed over to the Grizzly and Wolf Discovery Center.

The ticket is good for two days, and you can come and go all you want during that time.
I always thought that this place was for kids, but it is entertaining for adults too.
Plus it is a good organization.
It is a not-for-profit wildlife facility.  The bears are adopted because they are unable to survive on their own or are too comfortable around humans for the wild, and the wolves are captive-born, unplanned litters.

There are two wolf packs, one on each side of this indoor viewing area.

While you are watching them, they are looking through both walls of glass, keeping an eye on the other wolves.

It is brilliant.

It was cold, so we were happy to hunker down in the warming/viewing huts, with their wood burning stoves.
Until tomorrow... for now our little one can't bear any more.
