The Great American Road Trip. Day 22. Tautphaus Park Zoo, Idaho Falls.

Not everyone is a born sharer.  Take the pomeranian for example, they will loan you their ball until you throw it, but it is not for keeps.

We spent the morning at Tautphaus Zoo, less than a ten minute walk from Raya's house.

The zoo is in the middle of Tautphaus Park.  It seems small at first glance, but there are more animals than you would guess considering its location in the middle of a park, in the middle of a residential area, in the middle of Idaho Falls.

You really get up close and personal with the animals.

Red pandas are so much fun to look at.

We have another vote for wild dogs.  This baby loves dogs, wild or domestic.

You can hear gibbons from Raya's house on a regular basis.
They sure are nutty.

After the zoo we walked back home.
Idaho is such a fun place to visit!
