Día 25- Gran Canaria (el sur)

Just as we did in La Palma, we divided the island into the north and the south, and started with the latter.

Puerto Mogán, two and a half hours away from our apartment, is a touristy spot with pretty buildings and colorful bougainvillea, and lots of people watching.

Who photobombed who?

For a dip in the Atlantic we headed to Costa Meloneras, which is a little better crowd-wise.

Food in the touristy beach areas was not the best so we decided to take a detour back to Agüimes, our favorite little town in Gran Canaria, to our favorite cafe for homemade cakes and coffee (dinner).  In retrospect we should have stayed here for the rest of our Canary Island stay, but you don't know until you go!
