Honeymoon- Day 10- Falkirk to London

Today is our last day in Scotland.  It is time to say goodbye to Karlijn and Alister, the adorable little buckaroo, Leo, as well as Oscar, and the comforts of being in a home.

For our last wee walk in Scotland we went to the nearby Kelpies Canal Hub.

At thirty meters tall, the Kelpies are largest equine sculptures in the world.  The statues represent the role of horses throughout history in Scotland, as they aided in the progress of modern society.

Thank you, Karlijn, for being our hostess and tour guide!

First step, Falkirk to Edinburgh Waverley station.

-Should I try and start a conversation on the train?
-No.

Haha.  We can take a hint.
As soon as we exited the train, after talking to no one, there was a repeated automated message throughout the station about the heat wave.  They recommended drinking plenty of water.  They said if you start to feel funny you should contact train employees.
It was hardly over 70 degrees.

The train station has super healthy, fast foods at affordable prices.

Next step, Edinburgh Waverley to London.

Here we are at King's Cross London.
Where is platform 9 3/4?
They probably have all sorts of Harry Potter fans (hopefully children...), running straight into brick walls, hoping for the best.

Eric's first Underground experience.

Our hotel for the next two nights.

The hotel employee highly recommended the Pepper Tree, just a short ten minute walk away, so off we went for Thai food.  The food lived up to the hype.

  1. Don't you love "clever" in public? Why no conversation? So funny.

Loved the horses. While in Portugal we went to a big outdoor sculpture garden... so cool to meander in art. Looks like a wonderful stay with Karlijn. Fun for all.

Just another awesome day in the Brady & Eric Adventure!!!
